In Texas Hold’em each player has two hole cards. Five community cards are dealt in stages: three on the flop, one on the turn, one on the river. There is a betting round before the flop and after each street.
You may fold, call or raise. The best five-card hand wins at showdown, using any mix of hole cards and community cards. If everyone else folds, the last player takes the pot without showing. Hand order is on the poker-hands page. Outs and odds are in the poker calculator.
