Glossary
Casino glossary
Plain-language notes on wagering, RTP, KYC, OASIS and LUGAS.
This glossary is for people comparing casinos on Rehanak, not a law textbook. Five terms show up in almost every review: wagering, RTP, KYC, OASIS and LUGAS. The first three apply everywhere we list a brand. The last two are Germany-specific and are why a Curaçao lobby in German is not the same product as a GGL whitelist casino.
Each card below is a one- or two-sentence definition plus a link to the full note. Use the full pages when you need examples (40x on €100, 96% RTP vs a session, OASIS vs an offshore skip). Internal links go to bonus tools, Germany lists and the OASIS guide — not to a second copy of the same paragraph.
Next: casino comparison, KYC, LUGAS, bank transfer.
How to use this glossary
- Start with the group that matches the page you came from: bonus math, slot info screens, cashier delays, or German regulation.
- Open the term page for the worked example. Then jump to the related tool (bonus calculator, Germany list, OASIS guide) instead of rereading marketing copy.
- Figures on casino reviews are snapshots. If the cashier and this glossary disagree, the cashier and T&Cs win.
Bonuses and playthrough
How welcome offers actually cost you once the multiple, game weighting and max bet sit next to the headline.
Game math
Long-run return is a studio figure, not a session promise. Volatility and GGL stake caps sit beside it.
Identity and payouts
Advertised “instant” cashouts start after documents clear. Closed brands are why we keep a closed list.
Germany: OASIS and LUGAS
Self-exclusion and the shared monthly deposit cap on GGL brands. Offshore German copy is not a whitelist.
