What it is
Interac is Canada’s main debit and online-banking network. Casino cashiers usually mean Interac Online or e-Transfer via a payment provider — you approve the payment inside a participating Canadian bank, not with a Visa PAN or an EU IBAN.
Rehanak lists it because some reviewed brands put Interac in the cashier. That is a directory tag, not a claim that the brand is built for Germany or the wider EU.
Where it actually works
If you live in Germany, Interac almost never works. You need a Canadian bank that participates. A Sparkasse IBAN, Girocard or PayPal account does not become Interac.
Seeing Interac on a Curaçao cashier is not a legal extra allowance around OASIS or LUGAS. German-licensed casinos use other rails. Giropay, the old German bank-redirect brand, was shut down on 31 December 2024 — do not treat leftover Giropay buttons as Interac equivalents that still clear.
Fees and limits
Banks may charge a small e-Transfer fee; casinos add their own minima (often around $10–20 in our set) and sometimes cashier fees. Withdrawals are frequently not Interac — expect wire, e-wallet or crypto instead.
GGL monthly deposit caps (LUGAS) do not apply to offshore Interac cashiers. That is not an invitation to use them from Germany.
Speed
Canadian Interac deposits can post in minutes once the bank confirms. First casino cashouts still wait on KYC. From Germany the usual outcome is a declined or unavailable method, not a fast pay-in.
Verification (KYC)
Expect ID, address and proof the Canadian bank account is yours. German ID does not create an Interac profile. Complete KYC before you assume advertised payout times.

Which Rehanak casinos list it
Currently listed with this method in our directory: BetandPlay, Spinjo, LuckyVibe. That is a snapshot — the operator cashier is the source of truth.
In our directory Interac shows up at brands such as BetandPlay, Spinjo and LuckyVibe. Treat that as a Canada-oriented cashier note. For Germany, compare bank transfer and card pages instead.
Pros
- Natural bank deposit if you actually bank in Canada.
- Avoids some card-gambling blocks that hit Visa/Mastercard.
Cons
- Unusable for most German residents.
- Often deposit-only; cashouts take another rail.
