What it is
Maestro is Mastercard debit: funds come from the current account. Casino cashiers may show it beside Visa. Mastercard is retiring Maestro in favour of Debit Mastercard, so labels in the cashier can lag the plastic in your wallet.
Where it actually works
Unlike Interac, Maestro is historically common in Germany. Issuers still decline gambling MCCs. A GGL cashier plus OASIS is a licence question, not a card-logo question.
Fees and limits
Casino fee is often 0%; your bank may still charge. Cashout to Maestro is unreliable — expect e-wallet, crypto or bank transfer.
Speed
Deposits are usually seconds after 3-D Secure. First withdrawals wait on KYC.
Verification (KYC)
Cardholder name must match the casino account. Third-party or prepaid Maestro fails KYC often.

Listed at Lucky7even, Rooli and Spin Fever. If your new card says Debit Mastercard, try the Mastercard line rather than insisting on Maestro.
